Referring friends to Flip
The best way to bring someone onto Flip is to hand them something that already works: a Flow you actually use. When you share a Flow with your wallet connected, the link carries your referral code — anyone who lands on it and connects a wallet is credited to you as a referral.
1. Compose the flow
Start in Compose and type the prompt you want to share, the way you'd actually run it:
Consolidate my small balances across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Optimism into USDC on Base. Leave enough gas on every chain.
Run it once to make sure it plans the way you expect.
2. Save it as a Flow Template
After the plan renders, hit Save Flow Template. Flip turns your prompt into a reusable template — amounts, assets, and wallets become fill-in slots, so the person you share it with runs it with their values, not yours.
3. Open it under Saved flows
Head to Flows → the Saved tab, and open the Flow you just created.
4. Share it — with your wallet connected
Tap Share on the Flow page. Flip copies a link to your clipboard (you'll see Link copied) that looks like:
https://app.fliplabs.ai/flows/<flow-id>?ref=1a2b3c4d5e6f7081
The ref code is an anonymized fingerprint of your connected wallet — your address never appears in the link. Connect your wallet before tapping Share; without it, the link still works but carries no referral credit.
What counts as a referral
- Your friend opens your link. It doesn't have to convert on the spot — the referral is remembered in their browser, and the first referral link they ever use is the one that counts.
- They connect a wallet on Flip in that same browser — today or next week. The new wallet is attributed to you from the moment it's verified.
- Self-referrals don't count, and a wallet can only ever be referred once.
What you get
Referral attribution is live today: every wallet you bring in is credited to your wallet when it verifies. The rewards program that pays on that attribution is coming, and activity-based rewards are not active while Flip execution fees are zero. If you're a creator with an audience and want to talk revenue share on the Flows you publish, reach out via the contact form on fliplabs.ai.
Tips for shareable Flows
- One job per Flow. "Sweep my dust into USDC on Base" beats a five-step everything-Flow.
- Name it like a result, not a feature: "Never miss a Pendle expiry" travels better than "PT maturity checker".
- Public flows work too. The Share button on any Flow page — including Flip-authored ones — carries your referral code. You don't have to author to refer.
